Human Rights Violations against Women during War and Conflict

Conscious of the necessity of peace in order to prevent poverty, discrimination, violence and inequality, WILPF organised a roundtable in 1997 to give a women’s perspective on conflicts, both as victims and as active opponents of them. This report recounts the discussions of the panel including recommendations to UN member states.
