The past, present, and future of WILPF and pacifist feminism highlighted in Peace in Progress journal

February 2, 2015

This month, WILPF’s work to promote peace is highlighted in the International Catalan Institute for Peace’s (ICIP) Peace in Progress journal!

This comes just in time for the recognition of our work by the Peace in Progress award in Barcelona at the end of the month.

The February edition of the ICIP journal commemorates the role of women in peace processes, with a special focus on WILPF as a long standing pillar of the movement. WILPF Academic Network member Professor Cynthia Cockburn reflects on transversal politics as feminist politics. Women in Black co-founder Staša Zajović, and more.

Learn about the WILPF perspective in WILPF President Adilia Caravaca’s interview and WILPF Spain President Carmen Magallon’s and Sandra Blasco’s collaborative article on the first international women’s congress 100 years ago.

So we’ve thought about the past and the present. Where is this all heading?
