Photo blog from WILPF Costa Rica: Drawing Our Way to Peace

October 8, 2014

What if we could colour our way to peace?

WILPF Costa Rica recently launched their Drawing for Peace project and distributed colouring books titled Building a Peace Culture, highlighting the importance of spreading a culture of peace from a young age.

While these activities were organised in celebration of International Peace Day on 21 September 2014, WILPF’s Sections run ongoing programmes to promote peace, especially for children and youth.

On this particular occasion WILPF Costa Rica participated in a range of activities alongside other peace groups, including music groups with peace songs, yoga and meditation, and learning to make paper cranes.
