WILPF Kenya Group
WILPF Kenya Group has been part of the WILPF family since December 2017. The Group envisions to work for a Kenya free from violence and armed conflict. A country in which human rights are protected and women and men are equally empowered and involved in positions of leadership at the local, national levels. The Group uses WILPF integrated approach to peace as its key tool to create the conditions for the pursuit of long lasting peace in the country.

ABOUT WILPF KENYA GROUP
WILPF Kenya Groups aims at realising WILPF’s vision in Kenya through increased trust and confidence among women and the general population. To achieve this, they aim at engaging in the following activities:
- Reconciling divided communities and promoting integration and cohesion by way of creating spaces for dialogue and empowering citizens through civic education and civic engagement;
- Strengthening community, county and national capacities for effective conflict management through establishing and supporting existing infrastructure for peace and prevent proliferation of small arms and light weapons (SALWs);
- Buttressing the Conflict Early Warning and Response (CEWR) system at the local and national level;
- Strengthening and partnering with national institutions for human rights protection, crisis response, advocacy and awareness actions for peace.
