Evidently WILPF has lost its membership in the "US Campaign to End the Israeli Occupation." I know we have asked several times for WILPF to pay dues and remain a member. But I don't see WILPF listed below.

Each year, delegates of member organizations of the US Campaign come together to network, strategize, decide upon priorities for the upcoming year, and elect a new Steering Committee to guide the work of the coalition.

The US Campaign and the Washington Peace Center will host Norman Finkelstein on the opening night of our conference, Friday July 25th, at American University's Tavern in the Mary Graydon Center.
This is a free event with donations accepted. Come hear Norman Finkelstein discuss how to organize against occupation and hear his story of combating Israeli apartheid.

UPDATES: CULTURAL EVENT SATURDAY NIGHT
We will be showcasing the Expressions of Nakba exhibit during Saturday night's cultural event.
We will also be showing a short documentary of our billboard commemorating the Nakba that crashed the Israel @ 60 festival on Washington's National Mall June 1 and short documentaries from the video entries from the Expression of Nakba <!--[if !vml]--><!--[endif]-->competition!
We'll also be featuring the musical talents of our former intern, Andrew Epstein's band "Griffin and The True Believers". You can check out their music by clicking here.
Perry King will also be playing a tune for us.

Registration for the US Campaign 7th Annual National Organizers' Conference is now open. The registration fee is $75 and will include food, conference packets, and admission to the Saturday night cultural event and dinner banquet. To register and pay, click here.

MEMBER ORGANIZATIONS IN GOOD STANDING
Please note that while individuals and member groups of the US Campaign are encouraged to attend the conference, only delegates of member groups in good standing are allowed to submit proposals and vote at the conference. "In good standing" means that your group has paid its membership dues for 2008. Annual membership dues are set at between $100-$1,000 or more depending on the size and budget of the group.

DRAFT AGENDA
This year's annual conference will be extremely important-all member groups of the US Campaign should start making plans to send delegates today. We'll be discussing the political situation and its implications for our work in the United States, next steps forward on our Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions campaigns, the ongoing political and legislative work challenging military aid to Israel, the functioning of the coalition and much more. STEERING COMMITTEE NOMINATIONS
At each National Organizers' Conference, voting delegates elect four new members to the US Campaign's 12-person Steering Committee for a three-year term. The Steering Committee is the highest decision-making body of the US Campaign in between conferences.

RESERVE AND PAY FOR HOUSING
The US Campaign has arranged on-campus housing for conference attendees who need housing. The cost is $65 per person per night for a double room including taxes and fees. Conference attendees can sign up for housing with a roommate, or the US Campaign can assign you a roommate. The cost for on-campus housing is in addition to the conference registration fee of $75.
