[WCUSP] Pat Hollingsworth is ill

Dear friends,

This message about  Pat came from her dear friend Yvonne Simmons.  Many of you know Pat from her many years of activism on many issues, especially regarding peace and justice in the Middle East.  I assume messages  for Pat can be sent to Yvonne at roweenayvonne at yahoo.com.

Pat's cancer was discovered in her neck
through a MRI, yesterday they operated and now she is
in intensive care with a metal plate in the lower
neck. She came through well. And in a few days will
undergo another operation to put screws in the back of
her neck. Her surgeon is Bolivian and very handsome
and personable and said she has spunk. long story. She, 
of course is not missing the moment to educate,
feminism, human rights, justice and laughter. She
never ceases to amaze me, I love her dearly. I finally
had a good night's sleep. Off to the hospital where we
hav been camping out. If you want to share this
information with WCUSP I would apreciate it as I have
to go to her and siblings now.....
