Speaking about activism:

Dear All

Yesterday at 2 PM we organized a coalition of groups coming around the
Megiddo Peace table to do a press conference called:
 "Annapolis in Ann Arbor"

To our surpirse we found that we had 26 groups in Ann Arbor working on
Middle East peace; groups like WILPF, Jewish Voices for Peace,
Brit T'zedekV Shalom, Quaker, Friend of Sabeel, Pilgrims of Ibillin,
Students Allied for Equality and Freedom, many Chrisitan church groups,
and social action committee from Synagogue, Palestinian Aid Society,
Friends of Sabeel, and so on....

So we made a list of the 26 groups and press packages with some of
the public statements made to the Government at the occasion of Annapolis.
We did not have a lot of press but committment to some articles and radio
programs. We were able to meet representatives of all the groups, exhange
events information, realize that we could share ressources and do some
actions at a later time.

It was a good event for us we kept the the principles that united us
We all agree to work with respect and tolerance together.
A light of hope in the midst of despair.
