[WCUSP] Nakba and Thanksgiving

What occurred to me on Thanksgiving morning was this--

The day that the Israelis celebrate Israeli Independence Day, the Palestinians observe the Nakba -- the catastrophe.

And, the same day many Americans celebrate Thanksgiving, Native Americans observe a "Day of Mourning."

I thought the comparison compelling,
