Zahra Sultan spoke in Portland and around the State
last summer and especially of the plight of children
living as refugees outside Iraq. I don't know all the
details but if there is a pediatrition in the Boston
area that a member from Boston knows could help it
would be great. In Peace Yvonne
Here is another opportunity to help an Iraqi child
with medical needs. Most everything is lined up in
this case. There is only one obstacle. Maybe you
know someone who knows someone.....
Please pass this along.

URGENT NEED FOR AN IRAQI CHILD
You may be able to help right the wrong of American
presence in Iraq. Zahra Sultan came to Oregon this
summer, carrying with her many photos and pictures of
Iraqi refugee children. They made beautiful artwork,
including maps of Iraq, with flowers and birds, and
words that said, "I love Iraq."
Zahra has informed us of an urgent need, and you might
be able to help! There is a little boy, named Hayder,
(see
http://www.zahrairaq.org/search/label/Urgent%20Case%20Needs%20Help
) who is all lined up to come for burn care at the
Shiner's Hospital in Boston. The only thing holding
back the paperwork is a "medical sponsor" - a doctor
or clinic that has agreed to donate his services if
Hayder would get sick while he's here. The Shiner's
Hospital only cares for burns. We need someone living
in the Boston area who can ask their pediatrician or
family doctor to be so kind as to agree to be Hayder's
medical sponsor.
Please pass this email onto your Boston area friends
and family. If they want to do this, they can contact
Zahra Sultan at zahrairaq at gmail.com, cell phone:
503-358-3652 or www.zahrairaq.org . Please hurry,
Hayder is waiting.
