[WCUSP] Meeting with Congressmember Fattah's Legislative Director

Hi all,

Attached is a personal and informal account of the meeting held Thursday, Jan. 26 with Mr. Nuku Ofori, Legislative Director in the office of Philadelphia Congressmember Chaka Fattah.  The purpose of the meeting was the participants'  concerns about peace, justice and U.S. policy in Israel, Palestine and Lebanon.  

The report is as accurate as I could make it -- with some commentary of my own.  Mr. Ofori came to Philadelphia just to meet with us.  We spent about an hour with him.

This report is going to national WILPF members concerned about the Middle East, participants in the meeting and local WILPF Middle East and Coordinating Committee members.
