We want to alert our members and friends to an important speaking tour
sponsored by the American Jewish group,
Brit Tzedek ve Shalom. Combatants for Peace is a group of Jewish
soldiers and Palestinian resistance fighters
who have begun to meet to discuss why they did what they did, why they
think the fighting was wrong, and how they
can help to move their national groups toward a better
understanding--and eventual accommodation--of one another,
even though they might not agree on every point. We think it is
important for a wide audience to hear what they have
to say, and we encourage you to attend any of these talks that happen to
be in your area.
