Tonight we are returning from Canete and Chinche. It
has been a sad experience.There is so much to do
before the peoples lives can be restored. They don't
have houses, food or medecines. I saw many people I
know in small villages where I lived for many years.It
was like experiencing the pain of your daughters
death. This is the pain I take back to Lima. The house
where I lived in Lurinchincha is totally destroyed. We
bring water, food and medecines. Another day we shall
return to Pisco and Ica. Remember the rocky islands
full of sea lions and Humbolt penquins with the tunnel
that we passed under, it is all destroyed. It's a
shame, no.I shall write soon and keep you informed.
