[WCUSP] Interview of Ingrid Mattson

I listened to this interview and was very impressed by the 
thoughtfulness and knowledge of Ingrid Mattson.  American culture is so 
full of misconceptions about Muslims.  Ingrid is an excellent 
spokesperson and I recommend that you listen to the interview and look

Fresh Air from WHYY, September 28, 2006 ·  Ingrid Mattson, president of 
the Islamic Society of North America, is the first woman, the first 
convert and the first native North American to be elected to the 
position. Mattson, who was born and raised in Ontario, converted to 
Islam in college. The Islamic Society of North America is the largest 
Muslim organization on this continent.
