Thank you all for your informative answers to my question. Also the "apartheid" discussion. I think writing to our Senators (Kerry and Kennedy) is best right now. Do we know of any corporations that are doing positive work for the Palestinians?

Kate,

Is this something you can answer? I have to get on the road to San Diego
and I think the answer will take a little more time than I have for
research. There needs to be some explanation that the Presbyterians
didn't exactly "pull out," but are trying a different methodology, with
divestment still an option at a later time. I think there has been
some messaging about this subject recently on wcusp, but I can't find
it. Thanks. (And if someone else has it at their fingertips, please
volunteer.)
