The LA Diocese of the Episcopal Church has a Middle East Task Force that has
been trying to put a divestment resolution on the agenda of the diocesan
convention for a couple of years, maybe more. The LA presiding bishop has
been opposed to the resolution, so the Task Force has not been able to even
have it on the floor. They keep trying every year, with different wording or
strategies. I don't know of other churches. catia

Does anyone know whether there is a serious disinvestment campaign going on
anywhere in the U.S.? I understand the Presbyterians pulled out.
