[WCUSP] [Program] WILPF Update on Crisis in the Middle East

Thank you, C.J., for sending out the  WCUSP Alert and the International
Statement on the rapidly escalating Lebanese/Gaza/Israeli conflict, plus the
letter from a member in Lebanon. Thanks to WCUSP team for all your input.

I hope WCUSP will support putting these out further on WILPF News and
whatever.  I think all of us feel deeply for all those civilians in Gaza,
Lebanon and Israel caught in this destructive exchange, and all of us fear
for escalation into wider war in the Middle East with the U.S. joining
Israel in attacks on Syria and Iran.

We all have much work to do to support UN initiatives and applicable
international law, and to support as well those leaders at home and abroad
who come forth with sane approaches to  stopping  this military insanity.
