Dear WILPF US members interested in our Women Challenge US Policy: Building
Peace on Justice in the Middle East Campaign,

The following are some good resources on the crisis in the Middle East.

Today's Papers from Slate offers a good round up of today's newspaper
coverage of the conflict.
"Many Burnt Bridges," by M.J. Smith

WILPF International is working on a statement. Although WILPFers in the US
have been unable to reach our sisters in the region, the statement will be
based on past precedent, and we hope it will add a WILPF voice to the
international condemnation of the use of military force. (WILPF's
International President, Regina Birchem, lives in the US and is leading this
work.) We hope to complete it today.
