Dear WILPFers & friends,
Here's another reality tour we should be promoting to members and friends
to see for themselves the horrors happening with our taxdollar$.. Surely
WILPF/P-I also knows & works with Friends of Sabeel of the Ecumenical
Liberation Theology Center in Jerusalem. Naim Ateek who I recall from his days at SF's
Grace Cathedral, is brillant! Check out the website: _www.sabeel.org_
(http://www.sabeel.org) Love, KH
------------------
Update (7/9/06): We are currently attempting to lock in the $1800 price
(below) by reserving a block of airline tickets. If you want to be guaranteed
this price, please let us know of your intent to join us by Thursday, 7/13/06.
Due to the vagaries of the cost of jet fuel, if is quite possible that the
trip costs may be higher if ordered later in the summer or early fall.

We hope that you can be with us for what promises to be a very interesting
and informative trip. -- Bill

Dear Friends,

My friend and colleague, Betsy Barlow, and I will be leading a trip to
Israel/Palestine in late October, and we would like to invite you to join us.

The trip is designed to provide a concise overview of the drastic situation
facing the Palestinian population, both within Israel and in the Occupied
Territories, and we will also be visiting Israeli groups who are working to
combat the occupation. Our intent is for you to take your experiences from the
trip and give a first-hand report back to your associates and political
leaders at home.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me at
wthomson at umich.edu.

Peace,
Bill
