[WCUSP] Using Web Sites

Dear Joyce and all,

Our branch M.E. committee has recruited 9 or 10 WILPF and others to write a letter to the local daily, Phila. Inquirer, once every 9 or 10 weeks.  So, the paper would receive a letter a week from one of us.

We're using personal info plus info left out of the paper and info that's wrong.   This includes some new members.

If it works, it could be a model for other branches.

On the other hand, if other branches try it, they could be models!

will keep you all informed.

  The messages asking for responses to Pelosi reminded me to remind all of you that at least once a week write to your Congressperson using their web site...get everyone in your branch to do the same. It is so simple! .....and put in at least one question (Hoping to evoke a response).....Praise Carter's Book? Discuss the Gaza prison? Point out the debate that exists in Tel Aviv but somehow is considered a 'no no' here?........the offices should be flooded with 'our' point of view..............no excuse! Joyce McLean
