[WCUSP] Palestinian woman joining WILPF

Dear all, I am happy to announce that Zaha Hassan is
joining WILPF and I asked her if she would be an
adviser on the WCUSP campaign. Zaha is a Palestinian
lawyer that the team met when they came to Portland
when she had recently returned from Israel/Palestine
having worked on the law around house demolitions. She
and her family now reside in Vancouver, Wa. Pat and I
have worked with Zaha getting out info on the
middle-east. I think she will be a great asset to us.
A young woman with three children and a great
activist. When I asked if she would join WILPF she
said, "certainly, I like WILPF women and you and Pat
are my heroes" from somebody who is a heroine for us.
Now she will find that she will be part of the many
heroines of WILPF. Yvonne
