Journalist Jonathan Cook's book, Blood and Religion, explains why Israel is
so frightened of its Arab population. It's not fear of violence. It is
fear of the high birth rate among Israel's Arab population. They fear that
soon Jews will be a minority. Hence all sorts of legal disabilities imposed
on Arabs even thought Israeli Arabs are Israeli citizens.
