Dear Tura,
thank you . Even though I could no longer be on the leadership team , I
was saddened you are not- but then i was saddened when i felt i had to
take a step back as well.
It is admirable that Carter is willing to allow himself to be attacked,
as he had to know what kind of backlash wounld be unleased.
I've been working with JVP Philly & the next mtg is at my home.
This last Friday after our Granny Peace Brigade Philadelphia, GPBP
trial, I asked folks to walk with me & join the solidarity with Gaza
event in front of the israeli Consulate. About 20 folks joined ,
including some Granny Peace Brigade NY members who had come for our
trial. Z was there from CODEPINK & WILPF members also came out,
doubling the size of our presence.
In peace,
marlena

Thankyou for initiating a letter and action and I am
sure that the other members of the team would welcome
your work. I will help with this letter and
action..Thinking of the recent days in Austin and that
so much can get done when we are physically together
as Pat and I realize, both living in Portland, Make a
wish Yvonne.
