Yes, Libby, there is a corporate lobby.  
 
However, the corporate lobby is basically a whore that will, generally  
speaking, do business with whatever entity -- barring political  prohibitions -- 
can pay. 
 
In contrast, the Israel Lobby, comprised primarily of Neo-Con, End-Times  and 
Return-to-Zion ideologues, is philosophically driven.
 
There is, I believe, a difference.

   This is an interesting perspective. 
 
   One caveat: In my opinion, the author is incorrect in  referring to the 
Lobby as the "Jewish Lobby."  It should be  called the "Israel Lobby" or "Lobby 
for Israel"  as  there are many others, including Neo-Conservatives, Christian 
Zionists and  even Arabs such as Joseph Farah (a Christian Zionist) of World 
Net  Daily and others who are included within its ranks. 
 
   The Israel Lobby is not limited to one  religion.  
 
   It's important to make a clear distinction between the  beautiful religion 
of Judaism, the historically  noble Jewish people - and the current policies 
of the  contemporary state of Israel.
