Dear Katharina,

 I so much agree with you and appreciate your making the distinction between the "Jewish lobby" and the "pro-Israel lobby."

But I want to remind everybody that there is a powerful corporate lobby that's part of the pro-Israel lobby.  It is often overlooked and that's a shame.

     This is an interesting perspective. 

     One caveat: In my opinion, the author is incorrect in referring to the Lobby as the "Jewish Lobby."  It should be called the "Israel Lobby" or "Lobby for Israel"  as there are many others, including Neo-Conservatives, Christian Zionists and even Arabs such as Joseph Farah (a Christian Zionist) of World Net Daily and others who are included within its ranks. 

     The Israel Lobby is not limited to one religion.  

     It's important to make a clear distinction between the beautiful religion of Judaism, the historically noble Jewish people - and the current policies of the contemporary state of Israel.
