Dear friends,

Excuse me, but why isn't WILPF one of the member organizations with the US
Campaign to End the Israeli Occupation? A variety of other groups with which
I'm associated are members, but not WILPF. Why?

Love,
Katharina

STEERING COMMITTEE NOMINATIONS

The Steering Committee of the US Campaign is the highest
decision-making body of the coalition between annual national
conferences. It is composed of twelve people who serve three-year
terms in their individual capacities. This year voting delegates will
elect four new members of the Steering Committee for three-year terms
and one to fill the remaining two years of a vacated position.

The US Campaign is now accepting nominations to the Steering Committee
and will do so through the first day of the conference. Nominees must
be representatives of a member organization or an individual member of
the US Campaign in good standing.

To submit a Steering Committee nomination, click here.

MEMBER ORGANIZATIONS IN GOOD STANDING

Member organizations in good standing are eligible to submit business
proposals, receive voting rights, and to run candidates for the
Steering Committee at the US Campaign conference, in accordance with
the Organizational Rules.

Organizations in good standing are those that have paid membership
dues for 2006. Membership dues for organizations are set at between
$100-$1,000 or more, depending on the size and budget of the
organization. The US Campaign leaves it up to the discretion of the
organization to decide on the level of its membership dues, but
encourages groups to make the most generous contribution possible to
help us continue our collective work.

Thank you to member organizations that have recently renewed dues or
are in the process of doing so. Your organization will be added to
the list of member groups in good standing as soon as the dues are
