PLANE: Des Moines International Airport serves: Allegiant Air, American (Amer Eagle), Continental (Express Jet), Delta (Comair), Midwest Airlines, Northwest, and United - Expedia.com or Cheaptickets.com are sources for fairly inexpensive rates.

Shuttle Service:  Simpson College will provide this service from the Des Moines Airport to the Simpson campus.

CAR: routes (see map)  Simpson is located in the city of Indianola, a residential community of 13,000 people. Indianola is 12 miles south of Des Moines, Iowa's capital city; 12 miles east of Interstate 35; and 15 miles south of Interstates 80 and 235. The Des Moines International Airport is 20 minutes from campus. Five miles south of Indianola is Lake Ahquabi State Park, where swimming and other recreational facilities are available.

AMTRAK (train) :  Osceola, Iowa is the nearest TRAIN station to Indianola.  The California Zephyr runs daily between Chicago & San Francisco/Emeryville. (http://amtrak.com)  If you plan to come by train, we will arrange shuttle service from Osceola to Simpson.
